I am forever indebted
to the kindness of strangers, filling me with gratitude and humility in equal measure. because we can't do everything in the end. but I hope to be someone else's kind stranger someday, someone who makes them a little bit glad they were brave. idk - Atlas

I've never put much thought
into returning to the land of my ancestors. my home is either where I am or with people I love or where I've spent a long time and found meaning, I do not want to put my hopes in some strange place untethered to my lifetime. but still, looking out at the shore, squinting in the breeze while gulls wheel and call above me I cannot help but think that someone deep within my bones once loved this place. I'm glad I could return them here, even if I cannot stay. ho humm - Atlas the sun is rising
and it is, as always, brighter with you beneath its rays. the birds sing sweetly to greet your passing, the flowers bob and wave. when I think of you, I think of spring. colorful, undaunted, cheerful and sure. with steady steps you march towards summer but do not forget the lessons of winter. when you arrive, frost melts and life arises. Happy Birthday!!! - Atlas & I hope we still find
some way to meet, however far apart the winds of life might take us. thinking about travels - At;as I am elsewhere,
elsewhere. plants grow through the cracks of sidewalks, on buildings. juxtaposed with trash and decay, life, somehow, finds a way. It's a cool place! - Atlas the dark sky, the night
tucked behind closed windows deep beneath the sky. sleep eludes, but I am safe, I am wondering what the dawn will bring. a bit late since the night kind of sort of vanished on me (traveling eastwards is interesting) but it exists! - Atlas it wasn't until I said "bye"
that I started to cry. because you are behind me both literally and figuratively, now. my memories are so clear, like they happened just yesterday, because they did. someday I may not remember this at all. goodbye, bricks. goodbye, trees. goodbye, flowers. goodbye, seeds. goodbye, people. I love you, I love you, (wave bye-bye!) goodnight. graduation didn't hit, until it did - Atlas time unfolds like
the endless sky above us. what will we make of it? what will we build? there comes a time, I think when each generation is asked to hold the world. I hope we're gentle with it. yaaaay graduation! - Atlas oh, I still don't know
what to say about it all. it's been good, it's been great, it's been a lot, I love you? somehow words fall short. but I lived it, I did. idk man - Atlas I'm not quite sure
what to do with my freedom. but I have it nonetheless. and I think that choosing to spend that time dancing with you is a good choice, and one that I do not regret. I'm freeeeeeee - Atlas |
