It's a work in progress (that's for sure), but it's practice. And practice is good.

I'm playing around with hairstyles so that my OCs don't look too similar (though it's a bit of a struggle.) I'm not sure if I like this one or not.
-Atlas "It's by pounding that you become an ironsmith" -- loosely translated proverb from my French Textbook (which I found to be pretty relevant to Ernest. After all, you become an artist by making art--not the other way around.)
In which I tried to draw someone in my French class without staring at them in a creepy stalker-ish way. (I was only somewhat successful.) -Atlas Side views! Because why not, right?
Also: that awkward moment when you realize that all your OCs have the same hairstyle... Welp. Time to go redesign all my characters. (Maybe. I can be very lazy sometimes.) -Atlas I have entered the 'Draw her five million times until you start getting her right' phase. Brace yourselves.
-Atlas Meet Felicia! I just came up with her today, but I like her a lot. I think you'll be seeing her more in the future (at least, I hope.)

Also, three cheers for the first drawing in Ernest 2.0! -Atlas That's it. That's the last page of Ernest.
Guys, I finished Ernest. I finished my first sketchbook. (EEEEEEEEEEEEE) Figures I'd use the last page to draw something like this. -Atlas |
